The Neurosurgery Research & Education Foundation (NREF) expanded its informational and educational offerings with a complimentary webinar series.

In September, over 100 attendees participated in a presentation on Current Applications and Advances in Fluorescence-guided Surgery.

Description: Participants will receive an overview on the concept of fluorescence-guided surgery (FGS) for the resection of brain and spinal cord tumors. Neurosurgeons will understand the current technologies available for FGS and the different tumor types that can undergo FGS. Safety, diagnostic accuracy, and Level 1 evidence in support of FGS will also be discussed.
