As the premier funder of neurosurgical studies, the NREF is pleased to offer the AANS/CNS Cerebrovascular Section Traveling Fellowship.
The fellowship allows a practicing CAST-certified neurointerventionalist (of any specialty) to visit a high-volume cerebrovascular center to complete a one-week observership. Travel, housing and a modest honorarium are included.
This type of observership, while once common, has become more difficult to arrange. However, the rapid evolution of the field and the increase in the number of cerebrovascular centers has created a need for this valuable knowledge-sharing program.
The selection committee and/or officers of the AANS/CNS Cerebrovascular Section review the applications and reserve the right to make a final decision regarding the eligibility of a specific applicant or host.
