Celebrate a Life.

When an individual is diagnosed with a serious medical condition, quality health care becomes a priority. Celebrate a Life donations help make neurosurgical advancements possible to help those in need while honoring those whose memories continue to live on.

These donations allow donors to pay tribute to someone special in their life or the memory of someone who is no longer with them.

The Neurosurgery Research & Education Foundation (NREF) was established in 1980 as a response to the alarming rate of federal and private funding being pulled for medical research. The NREF is dedicated to supporting groundbreaking neurosurgical research. Through the NREF, extraordinary advances have been made in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders and improved patient care.

Through voluntary public donations, important research has been funded impacting the lives of those suffering from epilepsy, stroke, brain tumors, spinal disorders, sports-related brain injuries, aneurysms & AVMs, back pain and Parkinson’s disease. Continuing support of the NREF is critical to the discovery of the tomorrow’s neurosurgical breakthroughs.

A donation in the name of someone close to you will allow the NREF to continue providing research grants to the brightest, most talented young physicians, determined to uncover critical advances in the field of neurosurgery… determined to save lives.
