AANS Neurosurgery Technology Development Grant
Neurosurgery has benefited greatly from technological advances, such as non-invasive imaging techniques, surgical tools like the operating microscope, computer-assisted neuronavigation and technology-based therapeutics like image-guided radiosurgery.
The 2019 AANS Neurosurgery Technology Development Grant provides startup funds for student or resident research projects for cutting edge technology in neurosurgical training (i.e., 3-D printing, virtual reality, personal activity monitoring) or improvement of neurosurgical patient outcomes.
Applications for the 2019 grant are due Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at 5 p.m. CT and the winning project will be announced in March 2019. Learn more about the grant, application criteria and deadlines.
