Save the Date

The 17th annual Neurosurgery Charity Softball Tournament, hosted by Columbia University, is planned for June 6, 2020 in New York City's Central Park. Proceeds will benefit the Andrew T. Parsa Honor Your Mentor fund for brain tumor research within NREF.

Announcements regarding the 2020-21 Research Fellowship Grant & Young Clinician Investigator Award (RG-YCI) recipients will be made in February 2020. The 2020-21 Clinical Fellowship Grants will be awarded in March 2020.

Affiliated Organizations

A lecture series on Sports-Related Trauma was launched by the Chuck Noll Foundation during the 2019 AANS Annual Scientific Meeting in San Diego, California. The inaugural lecture featured Joseph C. Maroon, MD, FAANS(L) with his presentation, “Concussion and CTE — Personal Reflection and Perspective.”

Dr. Julian Bailes and Dr. Joseph Maroon - members of the Chuck Noll Foundation’s National Science Advisory Committee - initiated the sponsorship. Dr. Bailes, chair of the AANS/CNS Joint Section on Neurotrauma and Critical Care, will host the new Chuck Noll Foundation lecture series.
